Hoyle Franklin Foust, 86, of East Old Highway 64, died Friday, March 6, 2009, at High Point Regional Hospital.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Memorial United Church of Christ, where he was a member, by the Rev. Don Leonard. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Foust was born December 17, 1922, in Davidson County, to Cicero Thomas Foust and Nettie Elizabeth Beck Foust. He was a retired farmer and logger. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Russell Foust, Howard Foust, Foy Foust and Victor Foust.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Elaine Greer Foust of the home; daughters, Cheryl Head of Montgomery, Al., Patricia Tweedy and husband, Edward, of Greensboro, and Pam Heye of Raleigh; three grandsons, Phillip Tweedy, Jonathan Tweedy and Eamonn Tweedy; and a sister, Gertrude Mayhew of Lexington.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
